[RAG CLIPPING] EB Games Changes Storefront To Mimic Madden '08 Box Art
Madden '08, the newest game to be released in the popular football franchise from EA, is being released on August 14th and, as a result, EB Games is making some changes to the design of their store.
The entire front wall will change from a normal retail window storefront with displays and a door for customers to enter. Instead, the front of the store will be a gigantic replica of the game case for Madden '08, box art and all. A unique entrance is even being designed where customers will open the entire wall to enter the store that will mimic the opening of the game case, similar to a DVD case.
"It's Madden week at EB Games," said a spokesperson for EB Games. "Every year we cover the store with banners and stand up displays to advertise our favorite seller. This year we decided to turn up the heat and take it up a notch and BAM! This is what we've come up with."
