Peter Moore Takes His Sporting Wear Expertise To EA
Moore's business experience will help strengthen the EA clothing brand

Peter Moore, the (former) Corporate Vice President, Interactive Entertainment Business, Entertainment and Devices Division, has announced his resignation from Microsoft and his plans to take over the sporting wear division at Electronic Arts (EA).

"I've done my time at Microsoft and in the video game console business," said Moore. "It's time I go back to my roots."

Before working at Microsoft, Moore was President and COO of SEGA of America. Before SEGA, he worked at Patrick USA, the U.S. subsidiary of the popular French sportswear company, where he was president, managing all the company’s operations: marketing, sales, finance and distribution. EA hired Moore due to his experience at Patrick USA.

"With the 'Ring of a Champion' line, the EA clothing brand has gotten off to a good start," said an EA spokesperson. "But to seal the deal and make this thing a reality, we needed someone with the experience of Peter Moore to run the division. So, we decided to get the man himself!"

Moore will be moving back to Northern California where he can be closer to his family and start his new job at EA. It's not clear when he will start, but it's very clear that he when he does the house will be brought down at EA, according to Moore.

"I will tear this place apart with my bare hands. You better believe it."
