[ANOTHER NEWS] Odin Sphere To Feature Realistic Cartoon Demons

Odin Sphere for the PS2 will feature realistic graphics based on real life cartoon demons.

"We travelled to the land of Erion to make sure that we got all of the details for our cartoon demons," said Ching-Chong Bing-Bong, lead designer. "We wouldn't have felt right if the game wasn't true to it's subject matter."

The art team lived in Erion for 2 months while studying its inhabitants. They knew a little bit about the land from what they read on Wikipedia but had no idea how complicated its people were. That's why they went with motion capture.

"Those demons are very hard to draw," said Bleep Bloop, lead art guy. "We weren't going to be able get their movements down correctly with animation."

The cartoon demons of Erion were very helpful to the team. They let them study their moves without capturing their souls and devouring their minds.

"If it wasn't for the helpful work of the Erion demons we wouldn't have been able to deliver such a realistic account of the war," said Bing-Bong.
