Brute Grenade Kills 6 Marines In Halo 3 Beta
Six marines were killed by a brute grenade in the Halo 3 Beta on Saturday afternoon during a heated multiplayer match that lasted 20 minutes into the night.
The marines were trying to kill the Covenant's VIP on Valhalla when a brute grenade was stuck to a wall.
"We had come in trying kill their VIP and they took some of us down when all of a sudden a brute grenade came shooting in from outside," said Lt. Grumble, the self-appointed leader of the marines team.
More than 1,475,783 marines have been killed since the Halo 3 Beta started last week. At least 247,998 marines died on Saturday as players kept respawning to fight again. 34,598 have died today as a result of poor planning and "noob" players just starting the Beta.
The death toll is expected to reach 5,000,000 by the time the Beta stops on June 10th. The internet is planning on having one mass funeral at midnight on the 12th where no one is planning to attend.
