Nintendo Still Trying To Figure Out How To Delay Super Mario Galaxy
Nintendo is still trying to figure out what needs to be done to delay the release of Super Mario Galaxy.
"We've tried everything," said Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of the Mario franchise. "We messed up some of the code, we decided to add 10 hours of material - we even tried to 'lose' some of the marketing money in a poker game. We just keep coming up roses!"
Nintendo is known for delaying their biggest titles on most of the consoles they've released, specifically The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii. Super Mario Galaxy isn't due for release for a couple of months but Nintendo is worried they won't find enough hiccups in time to delay it.
"We try to delay things to get people hungering more and more for our games," said Reggie Fils-Aime, the President and COO of Nintendo of America. "In this case we just happen to have met our fake date of release."
Super Mario Galaxy is the newest game in the Mario franchise along with Super Paper Mario which is also being released on the Nintendo Wii and is in pre-delay-production.
