[ANOTHER NEWS] Nintendo Takes Risk On New 'Mind-Using' Game
The game company known for takings risks is taking its biggest risk ever by releasing a new 'mind-using' game for Nintendo Wii.
"We've thrown the dice and we feel like this is it," said Reggie Fils-Aime, Prince of Nintendo. "We are ready to risk it all by releasing our most controversial game yet."
In Think Tank, players take turns by using their brains to solve problems involving puzzles, strategies and planning. In addition, gamers will have to figure out the answers to multiple questions with subjects not limited to math, in-game geography and memory.
"It's a challenging way to look at gaming," said Shigeru Miyamoto, Prime Minister of Japan. "We've taken normal, everyday living and translated it into gaming. It's definitely a big risk, but we think gamers will be able to think using their minds."
Nintendo has taken risks in the past with their video games and consoles. The Nintendo DS, which features a touch screen, dual-screen action and smell-o-vision, was a big risk that paid off well. Fils-Aime hopes to accomplish the same thing with Think Tank.
"Think Tank will usher in a new era of video games and will also give us more money so that we can fund our hanafuda card game addiction."
