[KOTAKU WEEK] Animal Crossing VC Hinted At
I'm the type of a-hole who likes to sit through boring, stupid and useless movie credits, ignoring the warranted and completely acceptable pleas of whomever I am with (not friends) as I scan for names, funny bits, and important messages about the holocaust not happening. I would have been in luck after watching the Japanese Animal Crossing movie.
According to Nintendo-Inside.jp and the electronic version of Kyoto Shinbun and a homeless guy outside the office after the credits have rolled on the new Animal Crossing a message comes up as follows:
"Wii don't need to be first. Wii have kids' franchises!"
Unless that's just a secret message from the projectionist about a man with a horse, I'd say that's confirmation that the VC version is on the way. When? Where? How? Huh? No clue when, but probably not till the end of this year, beginning of next, or maybe even in the middle (I already said I didn't have a clue). Where? On your Virtual Console. How much? Probably ten bucks since it's a N64 game.
