[RAG CLIPPING] Nintendo Announces Air-Breathing Wii In Late 2007
Nintendo will release a new air-breathing version of the Wii in 2007.
This is a disappointment to a lot of Nintendo fans as they were championing Nintendo's lack of the 2 SKU model.
"I already have an air-breathing machine. It's called me. I don't need another one," said Anthony Keidas, lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Nintendo first announced the second version of the Wii for Japan and there was speculation about a US release. The rumors have been confirmed by Nintendo of America's Public Relations Manager Matt Atwood.
"The new version will cost a little bit more but it will indeed be coming out in the US. We feel that customers won't exactly care about the new feature but since people have been eating up the remodels of our DS and Gameboys we thought - f*ck it. Why not?"
