New Titor Info Shows 360 Will Lead
A recently uncovered Live Journal attributed to John Titor, the supposed time traveller from the year 2036, contains a post explaining that the XBox 360 will defeat the Playstation 3 and Wii in sales.
Titor claimed that the XBox 360 would sell well, particularly in Japan, due in no small part to its excellent graphics and futuristic online capabilities. Furthermore, consumers were enticed by the 360's dazziling library of games, which numbered in the tens of thousands by the end of the console's lifespan.
However, Titor warned that the XBox 360's potent sales would establish Microsoft as the dominant company in the entertainment sector, thus leading China to annex Japan, which was weakened after the collapse of both Sony and Nintendo. In fact, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata jumped off the top of the Nintendo building after the pitifully poor showing by the Wii, which doomed the company and ultimately himself.
Ironically, had Nintendo's Wii been the most popular console, the wireless remote-style controller would have allowed consumers to repel Russia's nuclear attack via a glitch in the warheads.
Interestingly enough, Sony Computer Entertainment president Ken Kutaragi continually claimed that Sony was not concerned, right until the day he was locked away in a Chinese prison camp and never seen again.
