Sony's Harrison Applauds Nintendo For Ideas
Phil Harrison, Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, has applauded Nintendo for its contributions to the video game industry.
"They've really done so much to help this industry to get to the point it's at, right now," said Harrison. "I think we owe them a lot of respect."
Sony has been in competition with Nintendo ever since 1994 when they released their first video game console the Sony PlayStation.
"It's been fierce, I know, but they've still managed to shine even though we've become number one," said Harrison.
You don't see this type of praise given to competitors often but Harrison feels that it's necessary.
"Hey, without Nintendo, where would we be? Thanks to their addition of the D-pad, analog sticks, system connectivity, rumble, portable console gaming and now motion sensing controllers, Sony has something unique to give to it's customers, and for that, I tip my hat. Cheers, Nintendo."
