Girlfriend gives Game Rag Head Writer Nintendo DS Lite
In a stunning move, Meridith Long, the girlfriend of Nathan Smart, Head Writer for The Game Rag, bought him a Nintendo DS Lite for his birthday.
"I really wasn't expecting it," said Nathan at press conference from his home, in Brunswick, Ohio. "I mean, I was only joking with her when I said I would break up with her if she didn't get me one."
Meridith wasn't available for comment by phone but she sent a lengthy email describing her reasons for getting him one.
"I really thought that he was going to break up with me. He's done this before where he says he's going to break up with me if I don't buy him something - sometimes he's joking, sometimes he's not. One time he broke up with me for not buying him a pack of Teaberry gum. I couldn't really risk it. I had to buy him a DS Lite."
Nathan denied that he sometimes isn't joking, but he was also winking when he said it.
