Capcom To Bankroll Film Adaptation Of Street Fighter: The Movie Arcade Game

03.25.06 - Capcom announced today that they would finance a film adaptation of the video game adaptation of the film adaptation of their Street Fighter franchise.

Entitled "Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game: The Movie," the film will depict two hours of combat in the fierce world of the Street Fighter: The Movie coin-op unit.

When reached for further comment, a Capcom representative said that 'Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game: The Movie' will be a step forward for Capcom in the film industry." He then became silent as his forehead caved in to reveal a recursive gravitational singularity.

There are no plans for a console tie-in.
