[PREVIEW] Mortal Kombat: Immortal Kombat Hands-On Impressions

2.07.06 - Last week I told you the Game Rag staff was going to Alaska to test drive the new Mortal Kombat title. Here are some impressions.

Graphics: They look excellent. Every character was given gigantic breasts, with Subzero especially sporting a really nice set of mammaries. The physics engine rivals any current fighting game on the market for jiggling effect. On the XBox version we played, the gigantic sweater melons actually caused some slowdown. Other than that, we were hard-pressed to find any problems.

Gameplay: The combos were really exciting, with lots of jumping and bouncing attacks. We were dripping in anticipation to try out all of the new moves, and they were well worth it. At times, the controls felt a little stiff, but overall it was a nice package.

Audio: The generic industrial music laced together with generic hard rock riffs really enhanced the experience. The music, combined with the detailed graphics, really got the blood flowing, helping to engorge our excitement.

Multiplayer: There were a few multiplayer modes, including Water Fight, Pillow Fight, and Mud Pit Ultra. All are pretty enticing.

Overall: Although this latest addition to the franchise has some new features that may seem odd to long time fans, we all agree that Immortal Kombat is absolutely titillating. Mortal Kombat had to adjust to the current state of fighting games, and with this latest effort, they succeeded. All of us are throbbing in anticipation for the final release.
