Capcom Announces Six New Exclusive Games For Xbox360, PS3 Ports Expected In 2007
2.07.06 - In a stunning move today, Capcom announced that they would be developing six brand-new games exclusively for the Xbox360, which has recently been plagued by a drought of software releases.
At the swanky press conference held in downtown Tokyo, legendary Capcom developer Shinji Mikami fielded questions about Capcom's shaky credibility when it came to swearing allegiance to a specific console: "If any of these games ever release on another console, I will cut my genitals off. Also, I will shave my head, which is a sign of shame and despair in my village", he stated.
Minutes after the press conference ended, Capcom's senior VP of finances, Tojo "Bobby" Nakahara directly contradicted Mikami's prior announcement. "I'm afraid we're already in talks with Sony to port all of these games onto the forthcoming PS3, as well as Nintendo for their Revolution console", Nakahara said.
Upon exiting Capcom's headquarters, Mikami was asked of what he would do now that the games he spoke of were also going to be released on other consoles – unfortunately, the celebrated game maker did not answer any of the media's questions, and dispatched his bodyguards to physically harm the journalists.
