Maxim Interviews "Inventor Of Video Games," Shigeru Miyamoto
01.09.06 - Maxim Magazine, the magazine for men, has an interview with the "inventor of video games," Shigeru Miyamoto, in their latest issue where they discuss hardcore games.
"It's been a real honor to meet and talk with the inventor of video games, Mr. Shigeru," said Ed Needham, editor-in-chief of Maxim. "Video games are cool and fun and it's really something to be in the same room as the guy who came up with them."
When asked if he would ever make an R-rated game, Miyamoto said, "Why do you ask such things? Do you even know who you're talking to? Who set up this interview? Why do I have to wear a thong?" Miyamoto continued, "Do you even know what my last name is? I mean, I know you know my two names, but do you know which one comes first? Do you know what country I come from? The Orient is not a country."
