Box Cover Artist Hoping Font Will Make Game Title Funnier
12.27.05 - Video game box cover artist Eric Mezedi is hoping that Agent Orange, the font he's using for his company's new game, will make the game title seem funnier.
According to Mezedi, there are a lot of funny fonts available and choosing the right one is key to letting people in on the joke.
"The title of this Max Friendly installment is The Curse of the Toilet," said Mezedi. "Now, you might think that the word 'toilet' is the funny part and you would be wrong. Yeah, 'toilet' is a funny word but it just doesn't have that zing that the Max Friendly series is known for. That's where I come in."
Mezedi says that he's tried other fonts such as Mardy Hardy and PeePeeLeePee but they didn't work.
"Sure, PeePeeLeePee will get you laughs, as will Mardy Hardy," said Mezedi. "Heck, you could even get laughs with a well used Big Roobs but you won't get the tears that an Agent Orange will bring you."
Max Friendly is a giraffe detective who solves crimes committed against his human neighbors. In Max Friendly and The Curse of the Toilet, Max has been asked to find out which Saudi criminal stole the landlord's Egyptian toilet, which also happens to be cursed.
